Introduction
At the iconic StoneX Stadium, Inside Success partnered with the Rugby Football Union to launch Rising through Rugby. Part of our mission is to empower young people through unique opportunities. This initiative brought over 120 young people from across the United Kingdom into the exhilarating world of rugby. It also opened their eyes to the many career paths linked to the sport.

The day was carefully designed to break barriers and spark a love for rugby in participants from all backgrounds. By offering first-hand exposure, Inside Success aimed to challenge stereotypes and inspire a new generation of rugby fans.
Activities included high-energy training sessions, hands-on workshops, and motivational talks from industry experts. Each segment gave the young attendees both practical skills and the confidence to explore rugby on and off the field.

A standout moment came when Bobby Kasanga, founder of Hackney Wick FC, shared his powerful story. He spoke about building a professional football club in Hackney, his passion for community development, and the club’s growth.
Hackney Wick FC’s popularity has led to high-profile collaborations, including a Copa90 documentary viewed by millions. The club has become beloved in Hackney for its weekly community work. Bobby also runs workshops on gangs and peer pressure in schools and colleges, showing how sports can be a force for change.

Zainab Alema’s Inspiring Story
Zainab Alema, a trailblazer in rugby, inspired the audience with her journey. As a Ghanaian Muslim woman in a male-dominated sport, she has broken barriers and become a role model for aspiring athletes.
Through her charity with the Atlas Foundation, she uses rugby to help women and children in Ghana. Zainab’s achievements include winning the Muslim Woman Award (Sport) 2022 and the Women of the Future Award 2022. Inside Success proudly featured her on our magazine cover and in our “Inspire Me” section.
A Shared Vision for Inclusivity
Together, Bobby Kasanga and Zainab Alema delivered a mix of real-world experience, motivational storytelling, and a commitment to inclusivity. About Rising through Rugby
Rising through Rugby also gave participants a rare look at careers within the rugby industry. From Saracens players to legal experts, attendees engaged in meaningful conversations and discovered new possibilities for their futures. This exposure broadened horizons and encouraged young people to dream bigger.
