Introduction
Inside Success had the pleasure of sitting down, and speaking with the icon herself Zeze Millz. As a British media personality, presenter and content creator, she is best known for one thing. Being a bold and unapologetic voice in conservation about race, culture and representation. Rising to prominence, and being best known for her show the Zeze Mills show, she has gone on to make a bold and proud brand for herself. And through that platform, Zeze Millz has created a space where for UK talent to be showcase She particularly focusing on Black artists and creatives, by allowing them to share their stories, and speak on their experiences authentically. Her sharp interviewing style, willingness to tackle difficult topics and dedication to give underrepresented voices a spotlight has allowed her to rise above and shine. Today, ZeZe is known as one of the UK’s most influential cultural commentators.
In this insightful conservation with Inside Success, Zeze opened up to us about who she is and what she represents. Inside Success recognise her as a shining inspiration to young people. Zeze gave us some important information. To end she left us with some advice to share with our young readers and viewers, who are looking to make an impactful mark in the creative space.
Who is Zeze Millz?
Well I am just a bold confident woman, who is unapologetically prepared to share my thoughts and views. I just give my opinion on what’s happening in the culture. However I gave it straight as it is. It’s like a raw unedited version of what’s happening in the world from my perspective and point of view.

How do you feel being an inspiration to young people Zeze Millz?
Well Wow! I mean I didn’t actually know that I was an inspiration to young people. So this really is news to me so this is very exciting news, it’s nice. I mean yeah it’s nice to be an inspiration for being yourself, which i think a lot of people are not able to do these days. Now this is not entirely at their own fault but because of how the world is, and the way social media wants and expects everyone to be perfect. So therefore, it’s nice that I can be myself and people find that an inspiration. So that’s actually quite a warming thing to hear.
What advice would you give to young creatives?
Advice that I would give to young, upcoming creatives is to just keep going always. Just keep going and don’t ever stop. Now this may be cliche, and I know this is what everyone says and what everyone thinks. But it’s important to hold onto that because people will say you can’t do it, but you have to stay motivated and focus on the end goal you are trying to reach. I mean literally when I first started doing the Zeze Mills show, I was getting dragged. I mean to this day I still get dragged online every day, but a lot of people didn’t see the bigger vision.
So I would just say, as a piece of advice to any young person reading this to keep going. If you really want to do something, and you have your heart set on it just keep going and be consistent. That’s the number one thing that’s going to get you results. Keep on being consistent with your content. Always put out content as regularly as you possibly can, just to ensure that you keep on growing.
Above all, what’s your biggest piece of advice?
Most importantly is to stay true to yourself. One thing I pride myself on is no matter what, I keep being my honest and raw self and not ever filtering myself, or holding back. I just continue to just be me, no matter the hate or backclash I get, because I think it’s so easy to get swallowed up in this thing as you start growing. Things will start getting faster and stuff starts getting bigger. Therefore, unconsciously you kind of start editing yourself, and painting this narrative and image of yourself, that in reality is so far from the truth. So as long as I can remain my raw unedited self then I have achieved and accomplished everything that I aspire to be in the moment.
What does culture mean to you?
Culture to me is the people. It’s what the people take in, what people talk about and what people do. That’s culture to me.
