Join the Evolution: Build A Succesful Career with Inside Success

Building a career is a prospect instilled in us from a young age, but few resources are given on how to navigate that process. So we’re providing it for you!

Over the years, the UK has founded several initiatives supporting the next generation with future employment opportunities. Similarly, plenty of organisations have also devised incentives. Whether it’s Youth Music, a platform dedicated to providing young adults with resources and tools to gain music industry experience. Or Creative Lives in Progress, another platform. However, this time around, dedicated to advertising job opportunities in the arts and creative sectors for young adults. These are just a couple of examples of organisations catering to redirecting young adults towards active job markets.

At Inside Success, we pride ourselves on being another pivotal part of the conversation. Offering mentorship programmes for young adults aged 16 – 24. Some of our young adults gain writing opportunities across print and digital, helping them craft journalsitic practise. Others gain business and sales experience in on-the-floor sales pitches.

Whether you’re looking to get your foot in the door in magazine journalism, expand your business skills, or learn more about where to apply for jobs. Where to gain industry support, how to earn successfully, we’re on a mission to provide that, if not on our website, then through group and 1:1 mentorships.

What Does A Mentorship With Inside Success Include?

We help young adults build everything from confidence to thinking like a business partner, and more. Our mentorship programme opens doors to internships/apprenticeships, job opportunities, and courses.

As a mentoree, you could spend one day in the office, writing 1-2 articles. Or you could spend the day with our leaders in London, advertising our print magazine. All proceeds get redistributed back into the company, to fund our staff, young adults and the resources we need to create and distribute our physical magazine.

While you’re reading this article from our UK site, Inside Success also operates in Nigeria and Ghana. Extending our expert knowledge across the world, we aim to support young adults in spaces where educational resources are lacking.

With a mentorship at Inside Success, you can learn pivotal skills in advancing your career. In addition to developing independent learning skills and mastering the art of collaboration.

Can Young Adults Learn from Inside Success Without a Mentorship?

Of course! While we thoroughly encourage young people to subscribe with us, to learn materials to enhance industry experience, there’s plenty to learn from the content we produce on our digital site and in the physical edition of our magazine.

Across our website, we run daily pieces on job resources, such as‘The Surprising Truth About the UK’s Most In-Demand Skill.’To health pieces such as‘A Student’s Guide to the Best Meals to Make on A Budget.’ An article redirecting young people to affordable and easily accessible recipes. Additionally, we run a series of stories on tips on business strategies that can help push young people in the right direction of earning comfortably. For example, ‘How to Price Your Services as a Freelancer.’

Moreover, in our print copy, we produce snippets of inspiring interviews with industry professionals. Often, celebrity figures that the young generation look up to. For our latest front cover, we sat down with MOBO-award-winning rapper, Scorcher. Throughout the piece, the artist discusses how he made it, the advice he’d give to the next generation and keeping things authentic.

Whether you’re a mentoree at Inside Success or are an avid reader of our publication, there’s plenty to learn. You can also check out a few other articles below, whose focal point is about redirecting young adults to essential tools to advance their careers.

Why Is It Important That Young People Have Direct Tools to Advance Their Careers?

Gatekeeping and barriers are terms most people are familiar with. And when it comes to developing a successful career, both have proven to be prominent obstacles.

However, on the other end of that, there is also often an overconsumption issue, where many young people feel overwhelmed by the amount of information plastered online. Thus, making it harder to separate what information is the most useful, and what they can benefit from.

Whether it’s no guidance at all, or an overwhelming surge of information, both scenarios lead the younger genetation at a standstill. We believe it’s integral that young people have direct tools to advance their careers because without them, it’s almost impossible for them to successfully climb up the industry ladder. Most places are asking for specific skills and experience, and without direct knowledge of these things, it’s capping certain groups of people at limited potential.
