Dame Sharon Michele White, Lady Chote DBE is a British businesswoman.
She is currently the chair of the John Lewis Partnership having previously held a variety of roles in the Civil Service.
She was a chief executive of the British Media regulator Ofcom from 2015–2019 and was the second permanent secretary at HM Treasury from 2013 to 2015.
She was the first black person and the second woman to become a permanent secretary at the treasury.
