Youth Vendor Programme Participant

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Youth Vendor Programme. Participants will work outdoors at different locations across the UK, engaging with the public to sell our publication. The funds raised through these sales will directly support our workshops, projects, and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Promotion:
• Engage with the public to promote and sell our publication.
• Clearly communicate the purpose and impact of the publication.
• Handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Customer Interaction:
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about the publication and our organisation.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour at all times.
• Travel and Location Management:
• Work at various outdoor locations across the UK as assigned.
• Be adaptable to different environments and conditions.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other programme participants and team members. – Support each other in meeting sales targets and sharing best practices.
• Reporting:
• Keep accurate records of sales and transactions.
• Provide feedback and reports to programme supervisors as required. Qualifications:
• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Flexibility to travel to different locations within the UK.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions.
• Passion for supporting youth development and empowerment.
